Lunga Tshuka Solo Show
Ground Culture Cafe 170 Lower Main Road, Observatory, Cape TownGet ready for a night of comedy, culture, and connection as Ground Culture presents an unforgettable evening headlined by South Africa’s very own The Energizer Funny, Lunga Tshuka. Known for his infectious stage presence and ability to light up any room, Lunga brings his unique brand of humor that blends big laughs with a powerful message of upliftment and resilience. The show also shines a spotlight on emerging and inspiring voices in comedy. Opening the night is Abongile Mdlazi, one of the young talents nurtured through 'Home from Home' and a standout at 'Comedy For A Cause', a S.O.C (Save Our Children) SA workshop founded by Lunga Tshuka. After performing in the workshop at the Artscape , Abongile now takes to the stage for his first live audience experience outside of that space—a debut that promises fresh energy, raw honesty, and an exciting glimpse of what’s to come. Adding even more depth to the lineup is Cape Town comedian Rameez “Remo” Cassiem. Having triumphed over near-fatal injuries and a rare nerve disease, Remo’s comedy is as courageous as it is hilarious. His acclaimed one-man show 'Remo: A True Story About the Day I Died' has already touched audiences, and now he brings that same grit, humor, and heart to the Ground Culture stage. This is more than a comedy show—it’s a celebration of courage, storytelling, and the power of laughter. Venue: Ground Culture, Observatory Dates: Wednesday, 29th of October 2025 Price: R120 per ticket
